BioThis is a blog about the training adventures of the Border Collies Speck (born 4-12-06), Emma (circa 8-15-01) and Meridian (born 2/2/09). I train Speck and Emma in agility, & Meri in foundation (mostly tricks). I have done some herding with the border collies,but don't have a lot of time. Jorgen (hubby) trains Strider (GSD, born 9/16/01) in herding. We also have another dog, Merckx (born 11/07) and he is training with Jorgen in herding and to complete the Pack, we have Gandalf the kitty. Speck, Merckx and Meri all come from Keen-Eye kennels in British Columbia and are from very nice herding lines. Strider is from DeBruts Shepherds in Bend OR, and Emma is a rescue from a central Oregon cattle ranch.
I work in the high tech industry and teach agility on the side at my Peak Agility.
